I recently made the acquaintance of an amazing artist, Lorri Ann Scott, through a purchase she made in my Etsy shop of my metal shapes. She is going to use them for her rust dying process.
She was kind enough to leave me a review, I was thanking her and asking what she was going to do with the metal. One thing led to another as usual, and I come to find that she just published a book on something I am totally in love with! Upcycling Clothing! You can find that book on Amazon. You are going to LOVE it! |

I began sewing, again.... on small pieces of fabric with no particular thought in mind. Just to do something that soothes the soul, that didn't take forever, that I could finish in an evening... I call it Mindful Stitching. I first heard of it from a friend who pointed me to Liz Kettle. She practices "Stitch Meditation". I fell in LOVE with the idea! One thing led to another and this book was recommended to me,"Slow Stitch" Oh MY GOSH! I fell in love. You might too! See the Book Here! |
